All
employers using the AEPS database must agree that the database will
not be used to discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion,
gender, national origin, age, disability or citizenship. Because
employers have requested that the enrollment form include questions
identifying individuals by race, gender and age to enable them to
monitor their hiring processes and ensure compliance with their
affirmative action hiring goals, we have included space for this
on our enrollment form. Enrollees are not required to complete any
portion of the enrollment form that they do not wish to be given
out as all information provided is voluntary.
TERMS
OF ENROLLMENT
Each
enrollee must carefully read the following terms and conditions
of enrollment with AEPS, and check the enrollment form in
the space provided below. Unchecked forms will not be accepted.
Aviation
Employee Placement Service, Inc. (AEPS) serves solely as a database
of information on persons seeking employment. AEPS is not an employment
agency or employment counselor, does not assign or direct persons
seeking employment to employers, and makes no representations that
any person using its services will obtain employment. Likewise,
AEPS is not an employer of pilots, flight attendants or mechanics
or any other persons and does not act as an agent of pilots, flight
attendants, mechanics' employers or any other user of the AEPS System.
AEPS
does not evaluate enrollment forms or make recommendations or decisions
concerning interviewing or hiring of any applicant. All decisions
in the hiring process, including establishing qualifications, deciding
who to interview, and deciding who to hire, will be made solely
by employers who use the AEPS data base.
The
services of AEPS are available to all persons without regard
to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability
or citizenship.
Upon
payment of the required fee and upon completion of the enrollment
form, the information will remain in the database for a period of
12 months, or on a month to month basis from the date that the information
is entered or until the enrollee requests its deletion.
AEPS
does not warrant the accuracy of its data entry, revision, or deletions.
In addition, AEPS does not warrant the security of the confidentiality
of its database or the information contained in that database. AEPS
reserves the right to change the terms and condition of the enrollment
with AEPS without notice. Any claims against AEPS by any person
using or attempting to use its services must be presented in writing
within ninety days. The liability of AEPS to any person using or
attempting to use its services is limited to a refund of the cost
of the enrollment with AEPS.
